pypm install pylabrad
Version 0.93.1 on Jan 9th, 2014 LabRAD is a system for quickly and easily building distributed instrument control and data analysis applications. Pylabrad provides a python interface to LabRAD. The reason for this was, what I felt, a 'bigger issue', and that was GUI updating. At the time AmphetaDesk was coded, I was still focusing on releasing a version for Mac OS 9, where forking of any kind didn't exist. As such, AmphetaDesk had to all operate within one process, which necessitated an event queue.
How to install pylabrad
- Download and install ActivePython
- Open Command Prompt
- Type
pypm install pylabrad
